There are many different types of drugs that affect the central nervous system (CNS), including anesthetics, anticonvulsants, antiemetics, antiparkinson agents, CNS stimulants, muscle relaxants, narcotic analgesics and sedatives. Their control is important for therapeutic monitoring and in toxicologic purposes. The developed LC/MS method provides the accurate determination of a wide range of CNS agents.
