Separation of seven cannabinoids (CBDV, CBG, CBD, THCV, CBN, THC, CBC) on an ARION® Plus C18, 1.7 µm column (100 mm × 2.1 mm, ARI-5720-BI21) with DAD detection at 220 nm. Two methods are presented: a water/acetonitrile gradient at 0.3 ml/min and 30 °C, which resolves all seven compounds within 15 minutes, and an isocratic water/acetonitrile 50/50 (v/v) method at 0.5 ml/min and 40 °C, which gives baseline separation of the critical pair CBD/CBG at the cost of a longer analysis. The elution order of CBG, CBD and THCV changes between the two modes, a selectivity effect that appears throughout the different column phases.
